La canzone ormai non è più una proprietà di Trent Reznor, ma, come accade con i figli, ha preso una sua via e una sua strada, a riconoscerlo è lo stesso Reznor: “Le cose sono diventate ancora più strane quando lui è morto, perché il significato della canzone si è spostato di nuovo. Da allora non ho più ascoltato la mia versione.
